Depression is what the young girl has. Depressed that she's causing almost everyone to hate her, and scared that even her family might hate her. Hiding her sadness with a fake smile, helps others in need and acts like nothing is wrong.

Amie looks really different from her parents, that it's actually hard to believe that she's their child. Her mom has light brown hair and hazel eyes, and her dad has blonde hair and sky blue eyes. And her? She has dark brown chestnut hair and blue eyes darker than her father's. People often call her and Ryan, 'the surprise children'.
